Therians Go is a 16+ social app. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Who we are

Age eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Therians Go. We do not knowingly allow users under 16.
Data we collect
- Account data: email (if provided), display name, age group, and profile fields you choose to add.
- Onboarding and quiz data: quiz answers, generated species profile, attribution source, and preferences.
- Usage data: check-ins, waves, chat metadata/content, reports, and safety actions (block/report/hide).
- Device and notification data: push token, app version, basic technical diagnostics.
Location
We use location to derive zone-level presence. Exact GPS coordinates are not shown to other users. You can deny location and use manual city search where available.
How we use your information
- Operate core features (accounts, discovery, waves, chat, subscriptions).
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and enforce community and safety policies.
- Send service notifications you request or permit.
- Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Sharing and processors
We use trusted service providers to operate Therians Go, including:
- Supabase (authentication and database services)
- Expo services (mobile app infrastructure and push delivery)
- RevenueCat and app stores (subscription processing and purchase validation)
We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for service operation, safety, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes. You can request deletion in app settings; deletion requests are completed within 30 days unless legal retention is required.
Your rights
- Access, correct, export, or delete your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing where law allows.
- Withdraw consent for optional permissions (like notifications) at any time.

Security
